Bi-lingual Account Coordinator (Spanish) – St. Louis, MO Office
Electrical Components International is a global manufacturer of electrical components that provides fully integrated manufacturing capabilities and a wide range of technical services including advanced design, applied engineering, custom manufacturing and integration of wire and wire-based components. We are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Account Coordinator for our corporate office in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role you are responsible for providing superior customer service to an assigned set of customers through proactive communication and accurate order maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages customer POs and schedules from start to finish, ensuring they are promptly entered into BPCS and monitored throughout the lifecycle
- Create customer shipment picks and shipment notifications with customers and internal warehouses
- Liaisons between production, shipping and other departments as needed and customers
- Respond to customer service calls and general inquiries and / or complaints, ensuring proactive communication to all customers
- Understands contract and quotation parameters to ensure POs are entered correctly
- Participate in ECN and NPI meetings as requested
- Monitors incoming EDI releases and transactions
- Communicates customer requirements to other departments to ensure customer communication
- Ensure customers do no exceed credit limits
- Responds to customer and internal order inquiries and other technical questions, routing and ensuring communication
- Performs other order entry tasks as needed
- Monitors customer specific sites, systems or bulletins as needed to ensure customer needs are attended to
- Communicates requirements involving customs documentation, labeling and special packaging requirements, and specific transport carrier functions and paperwork.
- General filing as needed of purchase orders, bills of lading, customer releases
- Assists accounting to investigate invoicing discrepancies
- Contributes customer and general information to their respective teams verbally and electronically
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
College Degree with a minimum of three (3) years customer service or production scheduling experience. Prefer candidates with experience in the manufacturing of appliance or automotive parts. Candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish, written and verbal. Must have strong communication skills, effective negotiation and problem solving abilities, and be a self-starter. Individual must be highly assertive and able to work in a faced paced environment and must be detail oriented. Experience using BPCS (AS400 platform) an asset.
