Diego Laurent is the Chief Financial Officer at ECI, where he leads the company’s global Finance organization and supports ECI’s growth, governance, and strategic transformation initiatives worldwide.

Diego is an accomplished global finance executive with extensive experience across Europe and the Americas, including leadership roles in manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions, and large-scale business transformation. Prior to joining ECI, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of GKN Powder Metallurgy, where he led operations across 27 factories in nine countries, delivering record business growth, operational excellence, and industry-leading sustainability performance.

Diego has a strong track record of strengthening financial governance, driving operational efficiency, and delivering results in complex, competitive environments. He is known for leading high-performing, cross-cultural teams and for partnering closely with operations and executive leadership to enable long-term value creation.

Diego holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, postgraduate degrees in Finance and Production Engineering, and has completed executive leadership programs at UCLA Anderson School of Management and Hult Ashridge Executive Education. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
