ECI Accelerates Growth Across Its Southeast Asia Manufacturing Footprint

CHONBURI, Thailand, August 28, 2026 – Electrical Components International, Inc. (“ECI”), a global leader in electrical distribution systems, control box assemblies, and other critical engineered components, continues to expand its manufacturing presence in Southeast Asia, building on its established operations in the Philippines and the continued ramp-up of its Chonburi, Thailand facility.

Since opening in 2024, ECI’s Chonburi facility has grown significantly. The company continues to invest in talent, capabilities, and new customer programs, with traction building across multiple end markets. The site has achieved ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications and supports UL and CSA requirements, reflecting the progress of the local team and ECI’s focus on quality and disciplined execution.

“Thailand continues to be an exciting growth opportunity for ECI,” said Luke Lu, President of the Asia Region. “We are building a strong team, adding new customers and capabilities, and seeing increasing interest across several of the markets we serve. We are very pleased with the progress, while recognizing that there is still significant opportunity ahead of us.”

ECI’s Thailand operation supports customers across a diverse range of end markets, including home appliances, HVAC, industrial equipment, specialty transportation, and other advanced applications. Its location in Chonburi provides access to a strong manufacturing ecosystem and major regional trade routes. As global trade dynamics and tariffs continue to evolve, the site is also attracting increased interest from international customers seeking competitive and flexible manufacturing options.

Complementing Thailand is ECI’s long-established operation in Davao City, Philippines. The Philippines facility has developed deep experience and manufacturing capabilities supporting advanced driver safety product applications and technologies for global customers.

“Our Philippines operation brings proven expertise in sophisticated advanced driver safety applications and technologies,” said Sameer Pagnis, President of Industrial Tech. “The experience and capabilities our team has built there make it an important part of how we support customers requiring exceptional quality, precision, and manufacturing execution.”

Together, Thailand and the Philippines provide ECI with two complementary manufacturing platforms serving distinct customer and market needs while leveraging ECI’s global engineering, procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing capabilities.

“Our Southeast Asia footprint is an important part of how we serve customers globally,” said Faraz Hasan, President of Global Sales. “By combining our capabilities in Thailand and the Philippines with ECI’s broader global manufacturing network, we can provide customers with greater flexibility, a highly competitive cost position, and access to the right manufacturing capabilities for their needs across our Southeast Asia footprint.”

As ECI continues to grow in Southeast Asia, the company expects to further invest in talent, capabilities, and customer programs across the region, strengthening its ability to support customers with competitive, flexible manufacturing solutions around the world.
